Synergist Finance Fellowship

Synergist Background:

Synergist Network is a national network of women in investing, with chapters in New York City, San Francisco, Boston, and Los Angeles. Synergist Network seeks to connect women in the first decade of their investing careers and provide them with the infrastructure, network, and business acumen critical for long-term success. Our vision is to work towards gender parity in the private equity and venture capital industries. We seek to fulfill our mission and support our vision through four pillars: recruiting, networking, training & education, and mentorship.

Program Background:

Synergist has launched the Synergist Finance Fellowship, a college mentorship program aimed at introducing college freshmen and sophomore women to the finance industry, including investment banking, venture capital, and private equity. The program will run over the course of the fall semester and will be a mix of educational content and one-on-one time with a paired mentor from Synergist.

Target Mentee Profile:

Our target mentees are freshmen or sophomore women in college with an interest in exploring a potential career in finance (including investment banking, venture capital, and private equity). The goal of the program is to provide education and resources to underrepresented groups in finance, namely women and underrepresented minorities.
